Hydraulic Parking Locking Valve – Push Button
This hydraulic parking locking valve is designed for motorsport applications. This hydraulic locking valve offers a straightforward yet effective solution for securing the rear callipers in a Motorsport setting, emphasising both functionality and ease of use with its push-button operation.
Function: Designed to lock the hydraulic brake line temporarily, serving as a parking brake.
Installation: Fits between the brake master cylinder and the rear callipers in the brake line.
Material: Billet CNC Machined, ensuring precision and durability.
Finish: Anodized Black body with a prominent Anodized Red push knob for visibility and ease of operation.
Port Size: 1/8 NPT inlet and outlet ports, compatible with standard fittings used in hydraulic systems.
Operation:
- Engagement:
Depress the brake pedal to increase pressure in the brake line.
While holding the brake pedal down, push down the red knob on the locking valve.
This action locks the brake line, keeping the rear callipers engaged in the “Park” position. - Disengagement:
To release the parking lock, simply push the red knob again.
Releasing the knob will unlock the brake line, allowing normal operation of the rear callipers.
Intended Use:
- Motorsport: Specifically designed for Motorsport use as a temporary parking solution.
- Limitation: Not suitable for use in road cars due to its specialised design and functionality.
