RPS is seeking an Office Administrator/Account Assistant to join our team.

This position will suit someone who is looking to work in a supportive and proactive role. You must be happy to multitask and use initiative.

We have a UK and international client base with high expectations. Alongside the core daily business activity of looking after classic and vintage cars our other activities include parts sales, car sales, car storage and modern vehicle repair and maintenance, all of which will be supported by this role, but no technical knowledge is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Various administrative duties.
  • Working with company processes, systems and software.
  • Data entry. Experience of Xero would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Fielding and managing incoming telephone phone calls. A friendly telephone manner is essential with strong telephone-based communication skills.
  • Supporting day-to-day office administration processes and ensuring key daily ‘must do’ tasks are actioned through an organised, flexible approach.
  • Following company procedures to order parts from suppliers.

About You:

  • Applicants should be experienced in office and business administration and possess a highly organised, support focused mindset.
  • You must be able to work to deadlines.
  • Good English and Maths are required along with an understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook. An ability to learn new processes and systems will be essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be solutions orientated, flexible, hardworking and value attention to detail. Being a happy team player is also imperative.
