The original alternator that looks like a dynamo. Designed, tested and built by Powerlite here in the UK, this unit delivers the performance of a modern alternator whilst retaining the period look of a dynamo. Built with OE rated components at the Powerlite facility, every Dynalite comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

We have a full range of fans and pullies to match our Dynalites, along with “dummy” control boxes to complete the period look.

Ideal for both road and competition use the Dynalite provides up to 80% more power and weigh up to 40% less than original dynamo units. The Dynalite units are produced in a wide range of different models replicating original dynamo units, thus allowing the Dynalite to directly replace dynamo units with no modifications to the vehicle. In many cases the original dynamo pulleys can also be used on the new units, creating a simple and reversible alternator conversion.

The self-regulating Dynalite units offer increased reliability and performance charging efficiently across the full rev range. The wiring changes required for the units are very simple and reversible.

The Powerlite range is manufactured exclusively by parent company Eurolec Components, and every single unit has been designed, tested and built by them to the highest possible standards right here in the UK.
